Rich Lefever began his first season in Franklin & Marshall men’s lacrosse program as an assistant coach in 2017. Lefever spent the previous seven years at Elizabethtown College as the offensive coordinator.

Lefever was inducted into the 2017 US Lacrosse Hall of Fame as one of six inaugural members representing Central Pennsylvania. He started the iM3 Lacrosse Academy to assist the Central PA region and its players with its rapid growth of lacrosse. Lefever also serves as the Director of Lacrosse at the Spooky Nook Sports Complex since 2014.

During his tenure at Elizabethtown Lefever coached twelve All-Conference and four NCAA All-American offensive players, was recognized as the 2015 Conference Staff of the Year and was a 2017 NCAA Tournament qualifier for the first time in program history.

Lefever spent over a decade as the head coach at Manheim Township High School, leading the Blue Streaks to Lancaster-Lebanon League Championships in 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2008. Township also won four straight PIAA District III lacrosse titles from 2006-09.

In eleven years at the high school level, Lefever produced 17 High School All-Americans, 85 All-League players, 38 All-District players, 12 District Players of the Year, as well as, the National Record Holders for Most Points in a Career (589) and Most Goals in a Season (118). For all his achievements, Coach Lefever was named Coach of the Year five times.
